Bosnia-Herzegovina is an informative account of the U.S. Army's role and scope of its peace enforcement activities carried out from 1995 to 2004 in that war-torn country, the scene of the most violent armed conflict in Europe since World War II. The collapse of the Berlin Wall in 1989 marked the end of the Soviet Empire and its forcible control of Eastern Europe.
